Dear Poquoson High School Community,

It is with great excitement that I step into the role of principal at Poquoson High School. Coming back to PHS feels like a full circle moment in my career—this school has always been an important part of my life. As a graduate, former teacher, and assistant principal here, I have witnessed the dedication of our faculty, staff, students, and families in shaping a school community that thrives on excellence.

Poquoson High is more than just a school—it’s a key part of our community. Here, we focus on helping students become not only strong academic performers but also thoughtful, compassionate leaders. I believe in PHS’s ability to meet the needs of every student and to continue building on our tradition of excellence, fostering a culture where respect, growth, and achievement are at the forefront.

Looking ahead, my goal is to ensure that each student is equipped and empowered to reach their full potential. We will continue offering challenging academic programs, fostering a supportive environment, and encouraging students to contribute to our community in meaningful ways.
